The course and exam access information shall be provided to you via email. Upon successful completion of the registration process, including full payment and agreement to the terms and conditions of this site, you will be immediately emailed a username and password to access the program.

Information on local ordinances shall also be provided to you via email and/or directly after point of purchase. If you do not see your city, please refer to the parish within which you will be working. You will be provided access to the ordinances of two different jurisdictions. If for any reason you need access to more than two different local jurisdictions, please contact the help desk/customer service during standard business hours.

The online course will automatically log users out after a minimum of 30 minutes of inactivity. If you are logged out or if you pause the program, you will be able to start where you left off.

The online course will provide a minimum of two hours of course instruction.

You must view all modules in course. Each the screen or module must be completed before proceeding to the next.

You cannot take the exam until the course has been fully completed.

This course shall take all necessary measures to deter fraud and verify the identity of each student and to prevent fraudulent course and test taking including, but are not limited to:

  1. Obtaining the log-in and log-off times.
  2. Discontinuing an examination if it stays idle after a minimum period of ten (10) minutes of inactivity.
  3. Asking each student personal identifying questions.
    1. The student must be asked a minimum of ten personal identifying questions before starting the exam.
    2. The student must answer correctly a minimum of 5 randomly selected personal validation questions throughout the exam.

The exam must be completed in one sitting. If you log out, you must start over at the beginning of the exam.

The time allotted to take the examination shall not exceed 90 minutes.

If the time limit is exceeded or personal validation questions are answered incorrectly, the exam shall be reset and you must start over at the beginning of the exam.

You must enter same exam access information to restart exam after exit.

You will be allowed two exits from the exam before being locked out. All reasonable measures will be taken to allow you to re-access a previously started exam in the case of inadvertent logout.

The exam questions are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure exam security and validity.

The exam will include 25 questions. You must correctly answer at least 70 percent of the examination questions. Students who receive failing scores may retake the test one time. If you fail the test for a second time, you must repeat the full course for an additional fee.

Temporary permits will issued to students who successfully complete the training programs and permanent permits may be obtained from the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

You will have access to help desk/customer service during standard business hours to resolve technical issues without delaying the flow of instruction or examination.

There are no refunds unless you are unable to complete the Responsible Vendor course due to a technical problem with the course. In the event of a techinical issue preventing the successful completion of the program, you must report this issue to the site adiministrator immediately by clicking this link and using the contact form. When reporting an issue please include the following information:

  • The type of device you're using. (Mac or Windows PC, tablet, etc...)
  • The version of the operating system your device uses.
  • The browser name and version you're using.

Once the support email is received, the site administrator will do everything within their power to quickly provide a resolution for the issue. Only if no resolution is possible will a refund be issued.
